At First United Methodist Church, our childrens' faith journey begins at birth. However, we start our children on their learning and discovering journey with the Bible stories at age 3 (Pre-K). This continues through graduation (Grade 12).

Sunday School begins in September and runs through May. Every Sunday begins at 9:15 a.m. with opening music. Pre-K through Grade 3 learn and sing Bible songs made especially for young children. At Grade 4, they continue with opening music in the Fellowship Hall and join Grades 5-12 and the Adult Sunday School members with singing their faith with contemporary worship songs. After opening music, each grade level returns to their rooms to hear the Bible stories appropriate to their age level.
