About Us Bookworms
Join in this lively discussion group which meets occasionally at 6:15 p.m. on a Monday evening and enjoys a meal together along with discussion about books that have been read by members. Dates are shared in the monthly newsletter and bulletin. Bookworms is intended for all book-lovers. Although much of the reading by our Bookworms is from the UMW Reading Program list additional books are read and being shared. The emphasis of Bookworms is to encourage members to expand their understanding of themselves, God's Mission, critical issues facing the world and to grow in understanding of scripture. We have a church library filled with books covering many topics just waiting to be read. If you haven't had time to do much reading you are welcome to join the Bookworms and hear about what others are reading.
